I can’t believe I have only made this dessert once before: the Tarte Tatin. All you need are a few delicious apples, butter, sugar and – for the quick-hack version – some frozen puff pastry. You don’t even need a recipe (the one in my first try was kind of weird anyway). Still here’s what I did:

There are some things that I have never tried and it scares me to just think of cooking them. Yesterday I prepared for a most dangerous undertaking … my first ever try to prepare a big roast that was not a chicken. There are other scary things like preparing any kind of bread dough … but preparing a big roast is right on top of the scariness scale.
